Sorah Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Verses Number 19
سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى ( 1 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 1
Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High,
الَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ ( 2 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 2
Who created and proportioned
وَالَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ ( 3 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 3
And who destined and [then] guided
وَالَّذِي أَخْرَجَ الْمَرْعَىٰ ( 4 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 4
And who brings out the pasture
فَجَعَلَهُ غُثَاءً أَحْوَىٰ ( 5 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 5
And [then] makes it black stubble.
سَنُقْرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰ ( 6 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 6
We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget,
إِلَّا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ ( 7 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 7
Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.
وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ ( 8 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 8
And We will ease you toward ease.
فَذَكِّرْ إِن نَّفَعَتِ الذِّكْرَىٰ ( 9 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 9
So remind, if the reminder should benefit;
سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰ ( 10 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 10
He who fears [Allah] will be reminded.
وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا الْأَشْقَى ( 11 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 11
But the wretched one will avoid it -
الَّذِي يَصْلَى النَّارَ الْكُبْرَىٰ ( 12 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 12
[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,
ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ ( 13 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 13
Neither dying therein nor living.
قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ ( 14 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 14
He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself
وَذَكَرَ اسْمَ رَبِّهِ فَصَلَّىٰ ( 15 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 15
And mentions the name of his Lord and prays.
بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا ( 16 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 16
But you prefer the worldly life,
وَالْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰ ( 17 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 17
While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولَىٰ ( 18 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 18
Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,
صُحُفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ ( 19 ) Al-A'la ( The Most High ) - Ayaa 19
The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.

From different backgrounds, and different experiences, you just might find someone here who had the same questions and doubts that you may have. • Kindness and GentlenessUndoubtedly, the heart leans towards those who are kind and gentle. It was said a long time ago: "Make your face happy and your words gentle, and you will be more beloved to the people than those who give them a gift". The one calling to the religion of Islam and dealing with other people has the utmost need to gather the people around him, and cause their hearts to lean towards him so that they will listen to him. Adorning himself with kindness and gentleness helps to achieve that goal with the grace of Allah.

  • The Life, Teachings and Influence of Muhammad ibn Abdul-WahhaabThe Life, Teachings and Influence of Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhaab: This book is not one with a political agenda. It is meant neither to support nor to critique any contemporary regimes or policies. Indeed, the driving force behind this work is much greater and more important than that. It has to do with, first, the religion of Islam as preached by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) himself and, second, with the honor and rights of an individual Muslim, Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhaab.
